Jira | Will my automation rules be migrated? | Automation rules are manually recreated. If you notice any are not working as expected post migration, the Project admin, rule owner or digital tools will be able to support you. |
Jira | I use JMWE (Jira Misc Workflow Extensions) - will those be migrated over. | The main difference between JMWE for Jira Data Center/Server and JMWE for Jira Cloud extensions is that Data Center uses Groovy scripting whereas Cloud uses a combination of Nunjucks and Jira expressions. These will be updated accordingly during migration and should work as expected. |
Jira | Advanced Roadmaps - will all of my data be migrated over? | These are referred to as 'Plans' in Cloud. Most data will be migrated over but there are some limitations e.g. private filters, unsaved scenario data, saved views. You will need to manually recreate those. Jira Boards | Boards with no location - Cloud In Data Centre, boards can be shared and have no concept of a location - i.e. 6 Projects, all sharing the same board. In Cloud, a board can only have one location. All Boards Migrate but the location associated with the board will be either; The one project in the Filter that drives the board data OR If the board pulls data from more than one project then the board owner (user) in DC or The Filter owner user will become the 'Boards Location' in the cloud. | If you share a board in DC and in the cloud the board is not in your project Find the board from 'Boards>All Boards' If the board already has a project location that is not your project, Copy the board, rename the board and set the location to your project.
