| Jira | I use JMWE (Jira Misc Workflow Extensions) - will those be migrated over? | The main difference between JMWE for Jira Data Center/Server and JMWE for Jira Cloud extensions is that Data Center uses Groovy scripting whereas Cloud uses a combination of Nunjucks and Jira expressions. These will be updated accordingly during migration and should work as expected. |
| Jira | Advanced Roadmaps - will all of my data be migrated over? | These are referred to as 'Plans' in Cloud. Most data will be migrated over but there are some limitations e.g. private filters, unsaved scenario data, saved views. You will need to manually recreate those. | Jira Boards | What are Boards with no location ? In Data Centre, boards can be shared and have no concept of a location - i.e. 6 Projects, all sharing the same board. In Cloud, a board can only have one location. All Boards Migrate but the location associated with the board will be either; The one project in the Filter that drives the board data OR If the board pulls data from more than one project then the board owner (user) in DC or The Filter owner user will become the 'Boards Location' in the cloud. | If you share a board in DC and in the cloud the board is not in your project, you should:

| Jira | I get an error when trying to access my Jira board. How do I fix this? | After a migration, some boards may become difficult to find or seem "lost" because their locations can be unpredictable. These boards are known as "orphaned" Jira boards. However, this doesn’t mean the data is missing. It simply means the board’s location has changed, and the correct location hasn’t been assigned yet. When attempting to access these boards, you may encounter errors like the one shown below.

6. Select the location of the board (select the relevant project to show the board in your project)
7. Click 'Set Location' to confirm (this will make the Board visible in the project selected Copying a Board to another ProjectIf you have set the Location of your board but need this board on other Projects also then the board will need to be copied and a location set for the other projects.

For JSM projects there is the ability to link a project to a space for the purpose of making pages available to external external customers.
