The Publishing team protects and promotes the appropriate use of the PHE logo and visual brand identity, and takes action to prevent misuse.

We offer guidance for staff including:

  • helping colleagues understand the importance of branding
  • showing how PHE's corporate brand identity should be expressed in communication materials
  • explaining the correct use of branding and its importance to our reputation
  • providing Microsoft Office templates with correct use of our logo
  • providing designated corporate colours and corporate typefaces

Contact branding@phe.gov.uk if you have any questions.

Co-branding

Content that is co-branded or produced in conjunction with another government organisation, such as the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) or the Environment Agency, will be tagged to that organisation. Their press office or digital team must be made aware of this before the publication date.

Where PHE work crosses over with the work of other government bodies who also publish content on GOV.UK, we need to work together to ensure our users are not confused or given duplicate information.
