Are you looking for a new way to conduct and document your sprint retro's?....... We have the solution so keep reading.

Take a look at the video for some cool ideas on how confluence whiteboards will help you and your teams run your retro's in cloud

But I need to do sprint retro's now and no longer see the option in Jira

Confluence is the answer....... Simply go to your space and use 'Create from template' option.

What are forms?

Forms can be built using conditional logic and rich formatting to let you show or hide fields, set field validation, and customise layouts with headings or tables.

Form fields can also be created without a Jira admin or making new custom fields that save to your site. Instead, these fields will appear only on the form they get added to, and can be linked to Jira fields if needed.

Add forms to request types to gather more structured information when customers raise requests, or to create issues using a direct link to a form. They can also be added onto existing issues by agents to collect more information from customers, or to record internal processes.

Personalise your notifications

You know how sometimes you get many emails because notification schemes are almost always set to email everybody about everything!

In Cloud you now get some options regards your own personal notification settings!

You can change your personal settings to amend the frequency emails.

This means that the system will batch them up, and just send a single email detailing all the changes.

Add 'Action tasks' to tickets via the comments

Did you know that in Cloud Jira, you will be able to add 'Tasks' to tickets within a comment!

Within the comment add the macro 'Action item' - you can @ someone to ask them to carry out a task and they can then 'tick' the box once completed and update their comment

Along with lots of exciting new features there will be some constraints when moving to cloud.

In this section we will call out where we need you to take action to prepare your work for migration.

Please take some time to review the following actions

What will not migrate?	What are the project doing about this?	What do I need to do?
Aura Titles used in Confluence Aura titles used in confluence will not migrate to cloud.	To avoid data loss we are currently converting all Aura titles to standard titles so you will notice the Digital Tools Team working through and updating your pages.	Please do not create any further 'Aura titles' using the Aura plug in on your pages. Post migration it will be possible to utilise the enhanced Confluence Cloud features to edit your pages or you can recreate the titles using Aura if you wish. Please contact us using the form below if you have any questions.
Confluence Macros There are a number of 'Macro's in Confluence that will not migrate because they are not available in Cloud Confluence. A list of those now removed are as follows: All users current_user div export_comments pagebreak spaces_list spaces_list1	Actively removed those to avoid any migration issues	No action required
Confluence - Personal spaces These will not be migrated. We will work with you to understand the content within these spaces and action required to ensure any required information is retained.	Responses received from the active Personal Space owners that we contacted. The team will shortly be contacting individuals who requested to retain their personal space to understand the purpose it is used for and discuss alternative storage locations	Please review the information in your personal space and be ready for a conversation with the team: - what do you use your space for? - does it need to be in Confluence? (i.e. is it pulling information and populating from Jira tickets?) - could another platform be used? (i.e. Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, OneNote etc) - if it needs to be in Confluence then is there a team space available where you could copy across the information and restrict the page so that only you can view? Please do not worry about losing your content, we will not delete the information it just won't be accessible in cloud but we will work with you to make sure its moved to an alternative location.
Jira and Confluence shortcuts Project shortcuts in both Jira and Confluence do not migrate.	We will fix as many as we can during the migration weekend.	Please make a note of any shortcuts you have on your Jira Project or Confluence space so that if they are missing, you will be able to manually recreate them.

Data Cleanse Activity

UKHSA are currently undertaking an exercise to review and validate content within the UKHSA Atlassian platform. It is vital this work takes place so that we can complete a full assessment of content within those project spaces and whether they are suitable to hosted in the SaaS. 

What we need from you please - We will shortly email a questionnaire to all main contacts, for you to complete about the content of your Confluence and Jira spaces. There will be accompanying guidance to help guide you through the questions and some background information.   We would appreciate your help in completing and returning this information to us.

UAT Familiarisation Sessions

Familiarisation sessions with our UAT volunteers have been recorded and are available for you to listen to. FAQs have been updated and will continue to be during the UAT phase

What we need from you please - Make yourself familiar with the look and feel of Cloud Jira and Confluence by listening to the recordings as well as visiting the FAQ page.
