Sourcing images for GOV.UK

Image Removed

Images used on GOV.UK should be:

  • public-domain and royalty free
  • relevant to the news story or page content
  • suitably generic in style, suitable for a mass audience
  • clean and free of text - except where campaign or PHE UKHSA branding is mandatory

The UKHSA Communications shared drive has a folder with suitable and pre-sized images: GOV.UK publishing\Website resized images.
