Statistical commentaries should be separated into these main sections:

| Main findings | - overview of the most pertinent data that has come from the statistical commentary - 6 to 7 bullet points

| Summary | - this is the body of the statistical commentary
- illustrated with Figures and charts
- sub-headings can be used to divide up this summary, but they should be written out in bold as normal 'paragraph' text

| Background information | - provide context to the commentary - why it was commissioned, who was involved, and contact details to find out more
- relevant links to the full statistical publication or partner sites
