How to check if your image is in the correct dimensions (Windows)

Step 1

• find the image that you want to examine on your computer
• right click on the image

• click on the 'Details' tab
• check the width and height of the image in the 'Image' sub menu
• ensure that the image is 960 x 640 pixels
• in the example below, the image dimensions are too large

What to do if your image is not in the correct dimensions

Please resize the image yourself using the crop function in Microsoft Picture Manager.

If your image is too large (above 960 x 640 dimensions) the GOV.UK content team may be able to resize it to fit if time permits. Please mention this on the ticket and we may be able to help.
