Ensure content has been through the correct approvals
The process of getting new content published
All new content Content must go through the correct approval above process before publication. This includes:
- gateway process for publications
- PHE publication standard
- approval from the Comms team
Submit a content request
. You must ensure:
- publications go through the Gateway process
- content is approved by the Comms team
- content adheres to the PHE publications standard
Once content has been published, please raise a ticket on JIRA Service Desk.
You should use this ticket to:
- explain the task that needs to be completed
- communicate with the content team on the progress of the task
- relay any feedback

Explain the request
What should be included in the form
At a minimum, the content team will need to know:
- details of the content that What kind of content needs to be published?
- What the intended format should we use - for example, is it a publication or a press release?publication, press release
- the date the content needs to be published, or the embargo date
Please remember to include details of:

Add important links and contacts

Publishing your content
- Review the final content
